Funded Learning Opportunity: Coalition Operations and Management. Application Deadline May 22, 2026
The Ohio Coalition Institute (OCI) is seeking participants for its upcoming Coalition Operations and Management Learning Community. This opportunity is designed to support coalitions and their leaders in building, managing, and sustaining effective behavioral health and public health initiatives using prevention science and coalition best practices.
Participants are expected to complete their program deliverables between June and September 2026. For questions, please email OCI@ohio.edu.
Content is based on the work of Dr. Frances Dunn Butterfoss, PhD, and the book Ignite! Getting Your Community Coalition "Fired Up" for Change (Ignite). Each session is designed to enhance coalition infrastructure and capacity based on coalition best practices, regardless of each participating coalition’s primary problem of practice. Coalitions and individuals selected to participate in this learning community can expect discussion, learning and activities that are focused on:
June 18, 2026, 9 AM to 4 PM
July 15, 2026, 9 AM to 4 PM
August 19, 2026, 9 AM to 4 PM
September 15, 2026, 10 AM to 3 PM
